Established in 1982, Sydney Tap and Bathroomware has been a notable family-owned business in the Sydney building industry for over 25 years. What sets this business apart is their focus on providing excellent customer service to all of their clients, fueled by a determination to provide what only a family can provide - care.
Over the years, Sydney Tap and Bathroomware has expanded their collection of products to include various bathwares, kitchen and laundry tapware, and spare parts. Their main goal is to assist people in the creation of their dream bathroom, kitchen or laundry by supplying high quality taps and bathroomware from trusted brands including victoria + albert, TECE and Mercer.
Objective
When Sydney Tap and Bathroomware moved to their new business premises in Alexandria, they decided that a digital upgrade was also in order to continue providing the best possible care for their customers. To achieve this, they approached the team at TWMG to take advantage of our years of experience in web development.
Solution
Sydney Tap and Bathroomware required a website design which would not only organise their vast product range, but also highlight their decades of experience and position them as a leader in their industry. To ensure a streamlined and efficient customer experience, we organised the products under three new pages (Bathroom, Kitchen & Laundry and Brands), allowing visitors to search for the items they need based on product name, location or brand.
TWMG recommended Wordpress as the CMS (content management system) for Sydney Tap and Bathroomware. This particular CMS is customisable and user-friendly, meaning that the team can easily add, manage and feature products, upload news articles and keep track of client orders through a simple registration feature. The website design drew on the existing logo of Sydney Tap, blending a professional website layout with quirky illustrations and a blue and white colour scheme to emphasise their history as a family business focused on customer care.
Our team also integrated an inventory management system for Sydney Tap and Bathroomware with Cin7 API. Cin7 API has several endpoints which can make a call to retrieve information regarding products, pricing, stock information, orders, payments and contacts. It enables the WooCommerce to update products and process orders efficiently. Moreover, it also synchronises with customer contacts so that Sydney Tap and Bathroomware are able to know who they are selling to. TWMG also integrated Cin7 with Sendle for the shipping method, while PayPal and eWay are used as the payment methods. With this automation, Sydney Tap and Bathroomware will be a step forward in the business to offer a quick and real-time update of their products.
Result
Once the site went live, it only took a short time for the new Sydney Tap and Bathroomware website to rank on the first page of Google. Their customers are now able to navigate their product range quickly and easily to find what they need, and our focus on mobile optimisation means that new and existing clients can seamlessly access the site on a range of devices, as well as connect to the company’s various social media pages.
